Visit Iron Mountain in booth #5453
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Iron
Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM), the global leader in storage and
information management services, will host a February 20th
session at the 2017 Healthcare Information Management Systems Society
(HIMSS) annual conference on how hospitals and health systems can
enhance the quality and integrity of their data.
As more and more hospitals and health systems continue their shift to
value-based care, focusing on improved patient health and wellness
instead of the traditional “fee for service delivery” model, data
quality and integrity is taking on an increasingly important role.
Coupled with new regulations like the Medicare Access and CHIP
Reauthorization Act (MACRA), which seeks to reward those organizations
that close the gap between patient health and fee-for-services,
hospitals and health systems are challenged to have high quality,
accessible data in order to deliver the best possible care and realize
those rewards.
Karen Snyder, Iron Mountain’s director of Healthcare & Life Sciences
Consulting, will lead attendees in a discussion on the role that data
quality and integrity can play in a value-driven healthcare world,
including using information governance policies and practices for
storing, managing, and accessing information that can reduce operating
costs, improve organizational performance and reduce compliance risks.
