William Meaney, President & CEO

William Meaney is president and CEO of Iron Mountain, an information management and data center company and a member of the S&P 500, and serves as a director on the company's board. He previously served as CEO of The Zuellig Group, a $12 billion primarily business-to-business conglomerate based in China - Hong Kong S.A.R. that saw sales triple during his tenure from August 2004-March 2012.

Prior to leading The Zuellig Group, Meaney spent a number of years in the airline industry, serving as the chief commercial officer and managing director of publicly-traded Swiss International Airlines from December 2002 to January 2004 and executive vice president of South African Airways from 1998 to 2001.

Earlier in his career, Meaney served as: the acting CEO of South African Vaccine Producers; the founder and managing director of Genhro Management Consultancy; and a principal of Strategic Planning Associates, now part of Oliver Wyman. Meaney's first career was as a CIA operations officer.

He is a member of the Asia Business Council, The Council on Foreign Relations, and he holds a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master's in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of State Street Corporation; and is a member of the Massachusetts General Hospital President's Council.

Gary Aitkenhead, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Data Centers

Gary Aitkenhead is Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Data Centers business unit, and joined Iron Mountain in April 2025. Gary is responsible for driving growth, setting strategic direction as well as commercial and operational delivery of this global business. 

Gary brings 30 years of experience in multi-billion-dollar global technology and services enterprises, with deep and broad commercial and operational expertise in the private and public sectors. He had roles spanning multiple geographical regions, and demonstrated a consistent track record of delivering transformation and growth through high-performing, diverse teams.

Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Gary spent 4 years leading data center operations for EMEA at Equinix, where he was responsible for overseeing the operations of ~100 data centres, growing capacity by 50% during his time there. Gary also took a leading role globally in delivery of Equinix hyperscale operations and the sustainability program. 

Before joining Equinix, Gary was Chief Executive of Defence Science and Technology for the UK Ministry of Defence, playing a leading role in the transformation of defence into the information age through advanced technology research and its application. Prior to that, Gary served at Motorola Solutions as a senior global business leader in the mission-critical communications sector, serving emergency services, utilities, and transportation users.

Gary holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Strathclyde University in Glasgow. He is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Michelle Altamura, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Michelle Altamura is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Iron Mountain. She is responsible for all legal matters including privacy and compliance, and leads the Corporate Affairs functions, which include government affairs, corporate communications and the company's agenda for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) sustainability.

Since joining Iron Mountain in 2012, Altamura has held progressively senior leadership roles in the legal team, spanning mergers and acquisitions activities, leading the commercial legal teams in North America, Europe, MENAT and Asia Pacific, and serving as the lead lawyer for several of our high-growth business lines. Most recently, Altamura was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Altamura was an associate in the corporate department at WilmerHale. Altamura holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law.

Mithu Bhargava, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Digital Solutions

Mithu Bhargava is Executive Vice President and General Manager at Iron Mountain for digital solutions, overseeing the innovation, execution, and growth of Iron Mountain’s digital products, solutions and go-to-market strategy. Iron Mountain’s digital strategy brings together the full lifecycle of Iron Mountain digital products and solutions to create and innovate a strong product pipeline of technology solutions for its customers.

Mithu Bhargava is a seasoned executive with an established track record at building and leading high-performing global and customer-centric businesses. Throughout her career, she successfully led global teams in digital sales, services, and engineering, and has held executive leadership roles at Akamai Technologies, Dell-EMC, NCR Corporation, and prior to joining Iron Mountain, as President of Solifi. 

Passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), Bhargava is a Board Member for C200, a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate, inspire, support and advance women in leadership roles. She is also a member of the Advisory Council for the Women Business Collective, and was the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award from the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC).  

Ms. Bhargava earned a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India, a Masters in Computer Networking from North Carolina State University, and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Business.

Raymond C. Fox, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer

Retired Major General – USMC

Major General Raymond C. Fox, USMC (Ret) is responsible for the management, governance, and assessment of accountability for risk across Iron Mountain. He also has oversight of the Board Risk & Safety Committee, which oversees our Enterprise Risk Management framework. Prior to this position, Fox led Iron Mountain’s strategic business development for emerging business and the government services organization, responsible for identifying and driving growth and value creation initiatives. He joined Iron Mountain after a distinguished career of more than 30 years in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed his military service as the Commanding General, II Marine Expeditionary Force and Commander Marine Forces Africa.

During his service career, Fox has held both staff and leadership roles, including combat operations during Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. In his last command, he was responsible for the welfare, training and logistics support for more than 58,000 Marines and Sailors, deployed around the world.

Fox has logged over 5,000 hours in Marine and Navy aircraft since receiving his commission through the Platoon Leaders Class and receiving his Naval Aviator designation. He is a graduate of the Australian Army Command and Staff College and the U.S. Army War College, and earned a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, a Master’s in Public Administration from Shippensburg University (Pennsylvania) and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Eastern Washington University.

Barry A. Hytinen, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

As Iron Mountain’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, Barry A. Hytinen has overall responsibility for the company’s financial management and financial operations. He has served as Iron Mountain’s CFO since January 1, 2020.

Prior to joining Iron Mountain, he served as executive vice president and CFO at HanesBrands since October 2017, where he has helped diversify the company's business model and offerings to achieve sustainable results in an evolving global retail environment. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president and CFO for Tempur Sealy International, Inc., a global bedding manufacturer. Prior to that role and since 2005, he served in a range of finance, corporate development, financial planning and investor relations roles at Tempur Sealy International, including as executive vice president, Corporate Development and Finance. Prior to joining Tempur Sealy International, Mr. Hytinen served as CFO of Fogbreak Software, a venture-backed software company. Earlier in his career, he held finance and corporate development positions at Vignette and General Electric Company. Mr. Hytinen earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a B.S. in Finance and Political Science from Syracuse University.

Jemma Johns, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Jemma Johns is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Iron Mountain. Johns is responsible for Iron Mountain’s people and talent strategies, programs and operations globally, driving the company’s performance through its people and leading Iron Mountain’s focus on diversity and inclusion, customer centricity and talent development. 

Johns brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology, cybersecurity and consumer internet industries, and a proven track record in building and leading high-performing global HR teams. She has specialist expertise in M&A, compensation management and talent acquisition, and has served as a Board member and advisor to CEOs, founders and executive leadership teams. 

Prior to Iron Mountain, Johns was the Chief People Officer at Irdeto, a global digital platform cybersecurity company. Previously, she served as Vice President, Human Resources for Prosus, a global consumer internet group and one of the largest technology investors in the world. Prior to 2015, Johns held various senior HR leadership roles at Hewlett Packard in Europe and the US.

Johns is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and an alumni of the Insead IDP (Board and Corporate Governance) program. She holds a bachelors degree from the University of Birmingham with post-graduate qualifications in business and HR management.

Mark Kidd, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Iron Mountain Data Centers & Asset Lifecycle Management

Mark Kidd is executive vice president and general manager of the Iron Mountain Data Centers and Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) business units. Mark has led the data center organization since its inception in 2013 and additionally took over the ALM organization in early 2023. Mark is responsible for driving growth across the data centers and ALM platforms, including setting strategic direction, leading commercial efforts, and developing expansion opportunities. Prior to his current role, Mark was senior vice president of Enterprise Strategy where he worked alongside the executive team to shape the overall company strategy, directed various internal consulting projects to enhance business unit planning, and managed the Office of the CEO. Over his 19-year tenure with Iron Mountain, Mark has held four additional positions in strategic planning, portfolio management, capital investments, and financial analysis. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Mark worked at Thomas Weisel Partners, a boutique investment banking firm. Mark graduated with his A.B. in economics from Harvard University.

Greg McIntosh, Executive Vice President, General Manager, Global Records and Information Management

As EVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Greg has global responsibility for Iron Mountain’s commercial functions and all aspects of the company’s most important customer relationships, including positioning its new and emerging solutions to meet customers’ evolving digital requirements.

Before assuming this role, Greg led Iron Mountain’s Consumer business and held global responsibility for new product introduction, pricing strategy and customer insights in support of the growth objectives of the business. He joined Iron Mountain in 2014 as the SVP and GM of the Canadian RIM business.

A commercially-focused executive, Greg has experience in many aspects of business and product strategy, business development and general management. Greg brings an extensive background in B2B solution selling and technology services to his role. Before joining Iron Mountain, Greg was a Co-Founder and President of Cyence International, a B2B technology startup that grew to 185 employees. After completing a successful sale to a large Financial Services Technology (Fintech) provider, Greg held several senior positions including General Manager and EVP, Account Management. Greg is a CPA in Ontario and holds a BMath and MAcc from the University of Waterloo.

Arvind Subramanian, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, India

Arvind Subramanian joined Iron Mountain in September 2023 as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, India, and is based in Mumbai. He is responsible for Iron Mountain’s commercial and operational activities across the company’s storage, digital solutions and asset lifecycle management business lines in India.

Arvind has deep commercial expertise, combined with extensive experience and knowledge of the India market. He has a track record of delivering growth and developing high-performing teams, and a passion for sustainability.

Arvind previously held senior leadership roles at Mahindra Lifespaces and Boston Consulting Group. He holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
